All home inspections are not "basically the same."  

 

Since Georgia has no licensing requirement for home inspectors, anyone with a flashlight and a clipboard can call themselves a "home inspector."  This means there are a lot of inspection companies in the Atlanta market with slick advertising but little expertise.  If you go with the cheapest inspector, you may end up with a sub-par inspection that could cost you thousands of dollars.
